We just moved to NC from TX and have enjoyed the search for our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Paco's Tacos was delicious. The queso was the best i've ever had. Our server was kind but we didn't get water the entire time we were there. Highly recommend if you're near the mall looking for a quick stop for margs and tacos. Looks like it would be a great vibe for a birthday party as well!

We had just got into Charlotte after a long day of traveling. We were staying at the Marriott Southpark. We were sitting outside having lunch and we noticed Pacos right behind us. The bride suggested that we have dinner there based on proximity. So glad we did! The waitstaff was great and attentive, my go-to Chimichinga was pure heavenly delicious, and the drinks!... ...I am not sure if they had any other spirits but they must have had about 300 different tequilas! If you have a fave, I am sure they have it! My only regret is that we did not have more time so that we could come back for more! Next time, I promise!!!

This was our second time here(on Mother's Day ) they weren't taking dinner reservations as we arrived right at around 5:15/5:20.. zero waiting time for a nice booth seating .. had we waited until after 6:15 there definitely Woods have been a wait .. yet didn't appear to be more than 15-25 minutes at most . I had chicken fajitas this was the second time . They were absolutely yummy .. I think the only thing I noticed a little different from the first time .. a bit more of a Smokey flavor .. definitely could have been a tad less .. but I am not an (easy ) to complain person. My spouse got the taco salad and absolutely loved it! It looked absolutely super yummy . I am dairy free other wise I would have tasted it. We both ordered their pineapple mint margaritas.. OH.. MY. Stars... absolutely SO, refreshing and absolutely delicious . Definitely on the SWEET side for sure . Which i absolutely love . If you aren't into a sweeter beverage this may not be for you . If you love mint as pineapple you will LOVE this beverage. I love the ambiance of this restaurant it has THE best vibe. The manager is always on deck making sure that everyone is taken care of . You won't be disappointed here. Highly recommend.

First visit to Paco's - great casual environment, expansive menu. Chips & salsa came as soon as we were seated, salsa homemade & really good! we ordered the tanked up tacos in lettuce cups - very tasty (a bit messy) & tinga chicken chimichanga which was huge & delicious! Service was fast, friendly & prices were reasonable. We will definitely return!

Fresh made tortillas - need I say anything else! Everything is delicious here! The fajitas always smell and taste so good! We also love how quick the staff is!

We try to visit when we're staying at the local Marriott. Made a reservation for when we arrived and happy we did. Lots of folks waiting for tables. Taylor, our cute server, brought us hot chips and salsa. I measure all Mexican restaurants' chips against Paco's and none come close. The salsa is fantastic too. We don't eat meat on Fridays during lent, so my husband had the Mahi Mahi tacos and I had the "small" chopped salad with grilled salmon. Perfect meals! Taylor is a great representative of the brand, friendly and fun.

This was one of my favorite stops during my recent visit to Charlotte. Every single item we had was fresh and flavorful. The chips and salsa are way better than your average Mexican restaurant. I had the enchiladas and they were amazing -- I had to add a Paco's Taco and I'm glad I did -- it's their signature for a reason. Our server was super helpful explaining the menu and giving us advice. I'd recommend and it's a must for my next visit.

Came here for lunch with my coworkers and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. Our server was very knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions. The food is absolutely amazing - I ordered the Enchilada de Dennis with bbq corn...DELICIOUS! Who knew BBQ corn would be so DELISH! Not to mention the shareable Churros dessert we ordered - YUM! Highly recommend! Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. Great food & fast service!

So good!! Pacos tacos has been on my list for years, but it won't be long before I return. Service: our server was friendly, patient and accommodating. We ordered guacamole, and they made it fresh at the table! They also boxed our leftovers for us after we were done eating which was pleasantly unexpected! Food: as many other reviews said, the portions here are very generous! If you're hungry, you'll finish your plate and be happy, and if you're not, you'll have plenty for lunch the next day! We started with the complimentary chips and salsa and ordered guac and queso for the table. Both were fresh and great sizes to share with a table. For my entree, I ordered the fiesta bowl with shrimp and loved it. Others at my table ordered tacos, quesadillas, and the taquitos (which were a special that night), and everyone was pleased! Wait: we had a reservation on a Friday night, and I'm so glad we did! It was busy, so would recommend calling ahead or reserving a table in advance! Overall: The food was fresh, the service was great, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable! Can't wait to come back!

My hubby chose this place again (though once in a long while!) on our date night... We made reservations for early dinner at 5:30 pm, and was able to slide right in. Think it's been at least a year (if not more) since our last visit...but this time around, I felt that the place looked a bit rundown. Maybe they needed a bit of ambiant lighting and/or some renovations? Made me sad remembering how shiny and nice this place used to look WAY BACK WHEN (20+ years ago??)...when the place was this Italian restaurant, Menzetti's. Also, for some reason, the overhead music was only playing on the right side of the restaurant. Sadly, the ambiance was just off. As for the food, I chose my usual...the 2 "Paco's Tacos" (Awesome Brisket!!) with Rice and Black Beans. As usual, they were DEE-Lish! My hubby enjoyed his Wood Grilled Chicken Tacos. I've always loved their Rice and Black Beans, and even their super-spicy salsa sauce. Also enjoyed their freshly made (by the table!) Guacamole that we ordered on the side...though it was a bit overpriced (14 bucks?!?). Aside for some ambiance issues, I thought the presentation could have been a bit better. The foods just looked like they were dumped unto the plate, with no effort. I actually fixed the plate to make it look more photographable. *SIGH* BTW, the service was good. Our waiter did a fine job, and even the Manager (?) stopped by for a nice greeting. So yeah, the foods and service were still solid. I would have loved to have given them 5 stars, but just thought they were a bit too slack with ambiance/presentation. Still, we feel that this is one of the best Tex-Mex places in Charlotte...and yes, we actually prefer Tex-Mex to "authentic" Mexican restaurants...where we've experienced one too many service and other issues. Yep...we're sure to be back to this one!
